MEDIAEAT
Project Name: MEDIAEAT
MEDIAEAT is a pioneering research initiative that responds to the call HORIZON-CL6-2024-GOVERNANCE-01-3 by addressing the complex interplay between media influence and dietary behaviour. Led by OTI Group. MEDIAEAT aspires to revolutionize the way we perceive and interact with media in the context of food choices. The project will explore the profound effects of mainstream media, social media, and digital marketing on consumption patterns, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations. Through rigorous research, MEDIAEAT aims to enhance knowledge and understanding, enabling consumers to make informed food choices.
Description:
The project goes beyond research by actively engaging with policy makers to advocate for evidence-based policy changes that promote healthier and more sustainable dietary behaviour. MEDIAEAT also takes a multi-actor approach, involving public authorities, civil society organizations, consumers, and the private sector throughout its journey.
MEDIAEAT's impact extends to various cross-cutting areas, including climate change mitigation, clean air and water, enhanced ecosystems, sustainable food systems, high-quality digital services, and a competitive data economy. As part of its commitment to disseminate knowledge, the project will create a Docuseries and a series of engaging social media content, making valuable insights accessible to a broader audience.
In alignment with the EU Taxonomy Regulation, MEDIAEAT will rigorously follow the "Do No Significant Harm" principle, ensuring that its activities contribute to environmental sustainability.
MEDIAEAT is not merely a research project; it's a transformative Endeavour that aims to foster healthier dietary choices, empower consumers, and reshape media practices to support a sustainable and healthier future.
