This is a new and exciting project that will have a great impact on our environment, and what’s even more amazing is that it gives back to everyone.
Our goal is to put reverse vending machines in the most public places possible, including, parks, universities, schools, supermarkets, malls, shopping centres, and all high-foot traffic areas.
What is Reverse Vending:
A reverse vending machine is a machine where people can return empty beverage containers like bottles and cans for recycling. The machine typically gives back a coupon to the end user. This is what makes it a “reverse” vending machine: instead of the user putting in money and getting out a product (like at a candy vending machine), the user puts a product in and gets out a monetary value.
Reverse vending systems are an automated way to collect, sort and handle the return of used drink containers.
The name reverses vending machines is sometimes shortened to RVMs. They are also known as redeeming machines, or can and bottle recycling machines.
We have already received letters of intent from 2 international online vendors to offer discounts and cash values as coupons on all the machines we place in Europe.
Each machine costs from €13,000 to €40,000 depending on the size and the products it can handle.
The beauty about these machines is that they are both self-sufficient and are low maintenance, meaning that once the machine is placed, it will actually generate an income for the project allowing us to buy more machines and place them in more areas.
We know that some countries already have these machines in place but many countries do not, and these are the countries we want to target and place the machines in first:
For corporate sponsors, we can offer you complete branding on a machine if purchase it outright, and as all our machines will be placed in high-traffic areas, the advertising alone will pay for itself, not to mention that your brand will be associated with environmental conservation.
