Project Description:

Social and Labour Integration for an Equal Society is a study visit project funded by the Spanish National Agency that will bring together 22 youth workers from 9 European countries. The project will combine visits to institutions working for the inclusion of young people in different situations, handicapped, unemployed or belonging to minorities. It will include visits to democratic institutions to debate with policymakers at the local and regional level. In the end, the entities will create a network to disseminate good practices in the field of labour inclusion.

Participant Profile:

The profile of the participants to be selected will respond to the following description:

  • Politicians or policy-makers
  • Youth workers
  • Youth information workers
  • Youth leaders

We are also looking for professionals who are directly involved in contact with young people or who are responsible for the executive or legislative power to support the political reforms needed to ensure access to the labour market.
IN THIS ACTIVITY THERE WILL BE NO AGE LIMIT, meaning that the selection will be made based on the experience and added value they bring to the seminar.
The participants will be chosen by the entities between their workers or they will carry out a transparent public selection in which it will be obligatory to respond to any of the previous profiles. The selection will obey their CV or motivational letter.
We are expecting that at least one person per entity has a sufficient level of English or Spanish so that he/she can help the second participant to actively participate.

There is a participation fee of 100€ (to be paid on location in Spain [if you are selected] to participate.
